This is one of my favourite variety. Possibly migrated from Europe however, this fig has been grown in Morocco for centuries making it a variety in its own right. Its resistance to cracking and splitting is an added advantage for my British climate. Extremely popular fig in Morocco Ghoddane is also known as Ghouddane, el Ghoddane and Rhouddan.
