1. General Overview

Vinny Figs (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies fig cuttings and related plant materials to customers worldwide. By placing an order with us, you (“the customer”, “you”) acknowledge, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We are a small-scale operation, and all orders are prepared by hand. As such, dispatch times may vary depending on volume and seasonal workload.

2. Shipping Schedule

  • Shipping begins during the week commencing 15/12/2025.
  • Orders are processed in the order they are received.
  • Selecting a shipping option at checkout is mandatory. Failure to select a valid shipping method may result in delays.
  • We do not guarantee specific delivery dates.

3. Shipping Destinations

We ship worldwide except to the following countries due to import restrictions, prior customs issues, or failed deliveries:

Exclusion List:
Russia, Moldova, Albania, Iran, Portugal, Turkey, India, North Korea, Myanmar, Central Asian countries, South America, Pakistan, Bangladesh.

This list is not discriminatory and is based solely on previous logistical and regulatory challenges.

If you can provide an alternative eligible delivery address, we may accept your order.

4. Customer Responsibility for Import Regulations

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check and comply with their country’s agricultural, plant, and customs laws.
  • Fig cuttings may be restricted, prohibited, or subject to inspection, quarantine, or fees in your country.
  • By purchasing from us, you accept full responsibility and risk relating to:
    • Customs inspections
    • Delays
    • Confiscation
    • Destruction of goods
  • We do not provide any certificates other than required plant passports (where applicable).
  • We do not offer phytosanitary certificates.
  • If customs confiscates or destroys the goods, no refund or replacement will be issued.

5. Customs Duties, Taxes & Fees

  • Some countries charge import duties, VAT, or customs fees.
  • These charges are not included in the product or shipping price.
  • The customer is solely responsible for paying all customs charges.
  • Failure to pay customs charges may result in:
    • Returned goods
    • Disposal of goods
    • Destruction by authorities
  • Returned plant material cannot be reused or resold. Therefore, no refunds or replacements will be provided for returned items.

6. Lost, Delayed or Seized Shipments

Once the order is shipped:

  • Risk passes to the customer.
  • We are not liable for:
    • Customs delays
    • Seizures or destruction by customs
    • Postal or courier delays
    • Lost parcels caused by incorrect address information

If a parcel is delayed or held at customs, the customer must follow up directly with their local postal service or customs authority.

7. Accuracy of Delivery Information

The customer must provide:

  • A complete and accurate delivery address
  • Valid contact information

We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.

No refund or replacement will be issued if:

  • The parcel is undeliverable
  • The parcel is returned due to incorrect address
  • The customer fails to collect or clear customs

8. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can only be cancelled before shipping preparation has begun.
  • Once cuttings are prepared or dispatched, no cancellations, refunds, or changes can be made.

9. Refunds & Replacements

Due to the perishable nature of plant materials:

  • All sales are final.
  • No returns, replacements, or refunds will be given for:
    • Customs-related issues
    • Delays
    • Customer error
    • Change of mind
    • Failure to pay customs duties
    • Returned or destroyed items

We inspect and package all cuttings carefully; however, natural variation in size, colour, and condition is normal.

10. Fairness Statement

We are committed to fairness and transparency. Shipping restrictions or refusals are based solely on regulatory and logistical history, not personal, cultural, or national bias.

11. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with Vinny Figs, the customer confirms that they:

  • Have read, understood, and agreed to these terms
  • Accept full responsibility for compliance with their country’s regulations
  • Accept all associated risks once the order is shipped
