This variety was discovered by Sergio Carlini in the garden of Torlaschi Nursery near a small mountain town called Bobbio in Northern Italy located in the heart of Val Trebbia, a valley described by Ernest Hemingway as “the most beautiful in the world”.
This fig is super productive and high quality.
